Testimonials

Our 85 year old mother has been a resident at Heart Court Manor in Sacramento for a little over one month receiving respite care.  The following are several points I would like to share regarding their administering of care.  The staff and administrators at HCM are all very diligent and thorough in their quality of care and are genuinely invested in the comfort of their residents.  They adhere to strict ethical and legal standards and guidelines with regard to management of medication and safety procedures.  Our home health nurse who visits at HCM commented that the operation and level of care is among the best he has experienced due to their being involved in all aspects of our mother's recovery and I agree with his opinion.  Their continued communication on a daily basis regarding care and necessities for our mother is top notch and very professional.  To summarize, my mother and our family's experience at Heart Court Manor has made this difficult period for her a more comfortable time and easier to manage.

My friend has been at Heart Court Manor  for two years since the summer of 2019.  I helped select the home when my friend fell, was  hospitalized, and could not safely return home.  As I previously had an elderly parent  in a care  home, I felt  I knew what to look for in visiting possible homes for her to move to. After two years of visiting and watching my friend's health stabilize over that time, I am glad I helped select Heart Court Manor for her care.   I have been pleased with the care she has been provided. I have found the staff attentive and responsive to her needs. If I have a question or concern, the staff will follow up and get back to me.

Our Mom has been living in Heart Court Manor for over two years.  Prior to moving into Heart Court Manor, we had looked at several private care facilities in the area. We were so lucky to find this facility. We had been very impressed with how caring and understanding the staff had been.  Heart Court Manor has been so helpful and accommodating to our mom's needs.  They would often ask if there was anything else that they could do to make our Mom's stay more pleasant. We love how everyone has continued to be so thoughtful and caring. During the time of the pandemic, when the state was in quarantine, the facility had been closed off to family and to the public, which would make a lot of families concerned and worried for their love ones.  However, we were very confident and extremely happy that our Mom was living in Heart Court Manor when this happened. We knew that our Mom would be safe and well cared for. Our mom enjoys living at Heart Court Manor because of the great staff, the great care, and most of all they treat her and us like family.  Every time when we visit, the staff has always been very inviting and happy.

Thank you for all that you do and making Heart Court Manor a great place for our Mom!

Our mother had been receiving 24/7 in-home care following a stroke, but it really wasn’t working out the best for her and was very expensive. We were referred to the Heart Court Manor (HCM) facility where I met with the Adiministrator to view the facility and meet the staff. I was very impressed with the facility; it’s in a nice area, it has been updated in recent years and is clean and organized. The caregivers are friendly and knowledgeable. We made the decision to move her into HCM. Since being there the staff has been extremely helpful at taking care of things for her that we were unable to accomplish when she was at home. I receive frequent updates on her rehab progress and I’m informed promptly if there’s something with her care that requires family input. Our mother has been happy with the personal care she receives. She enjoys the meals and activities and has been in much better spirits since she’s been staying at HCM. We’re very happy with our decision to move her into HCM and I would recommend checking it out as a selection for a board and care facility.
